It's the Weekend

It looks like the rain has left and we will be left with some sunshine this weekend. Yea

Still recovering from the "crud", but feeling a bit better then I was. Love that the meds are finally working. It's not fun being under the weather. There might be some action on the wii fit this weekend. I am dying to workout with it, but with this "crud" I just haven't had the energy for it. I can say that Sarah is loving it, but hopefully she doesn't wear it out before I have a chance to use it. That child has been on it all morning long. She's a wii maniac! lol

Have a great weekend. Time to leave the computer and get ready for the day. Big plans to do some fun shopping today.

Since I prefer a Man and won't pay money to listen to a boy sing, my vote is for David Cook. Now will Idol pick a winner or a teen cooner? The clock is ticking-

Was that a season ending or what? But who was Susan kissing at the end of the show? And, are we really going to be 5 yrs ahead, when the show picks up in the Fall? Gabby had kids, that should be an adventure.

Now let the countdown begin for Grey's season finale, and the start of the new Bachelorette. I do hope Deanna gets her fairy tale ending this time.

Walk down Memory Lane

One of my Aunts has been sending my Sister some photos of me and her when were little. This one is a photo taken in 1967. I was almost 3 and my sister was just a little over 1. It's kinda of nice to see these old photos. I don't have many of myself when I was younger. The one thing I do remember about my Grandma M. was that she was always taking photos, and I mean always. I know that my Dad's sisters have most of the photos she had taken. It would be a treasure to see more of these older photos. Maybe someday.

Now I must go rest up, there's a big challenge tomorrow that I must participate in. Have a great weekend!

Happy "belated" Mother's Day!

Aren't this smiley faces cute? I thought so, and also thought they would make for a cute post on this blog. I really don't have anything exciting to post, but I will let you know once I load the software for the Cricut. I will tell you how it works. It's going to be kinda of nice to work from the computer, and just send to cut. Now to have some creative time. I might try for this weekend, but not too sure if there will be any extra time.

I believe I have told you some of my favorite papers right now. If I didn't, I am really liking Sassafras Lass, Elsie, Basic Grey, Fancy Pants, and please add Making Memories. Out of curiosity, what line of paper are you liking right now. I have seen many that grab my attention, but there is a stack of what I just mention on my workspace just waiting for me to create with. Oh did I mention 3 sets of Urban Lily stamps arrive the other day. Too CUTE! And, Elsie's Daisy line should be arriving any time. It was a slow arrival, but it's ok, right now it's just going to have to sit next to the other Elsie. Very cute stamps with the Elsie line, too. You know I like to help all of you with your shopping needs. LOL

Oh and good season ending to Brothers & Sisters, last night. I'm sure we'll meet the missing love child in the Fall. Of course it must be the right one this time. LOL
