Is there a Doctor in the House?

Since there is no real doctor in this house. I went for the next best thing and grabbed a picture of Dr. McDreamy. Although I'm pretty sure it won't get rid of this flu bug aka. "the crud" that I got, it would leave you with something nice to look at, while I am recovering. Maybe tomorrow I will feel up to posting something new.

CHA ...... CHA CHA

Yep, I am going to talk about CHA. I'm sure some of you have been shocked that I haven't really said much until now, but hey sometimes waiting is so much funnier. Anyhoo!

I believe this year's CHA product with the most hype is the new Making Memories Slice! I cannot wait until this new die cutting machine is available. If you haven't seen it in action yet, head over to the Making Memories blog{link located on the right side of this blog} and take a look at their video. It's a very Cool product!!

As for who is raising the hype over being the new company debuting at CHA, That has got to go to Pink Paisley. The new stuff they have released for their debut is very eye catching, and I feel they will do well with this new lines, and future products.

Melissa Frances new line is very soft & pretty. She always has very classy products, that is something I have always like about Melissa Frances lines. This one is really worth checking out.

Theresa Collins has some very good stuff with your new TC release, and I believe this going out on her own, might just be the ticket for her products.

Snow Day 3

I'm having another day off from work, due to the snow storm 08. Yes our snow storm has a name, it's something one of news channels loves to do. So I guess it's official our storms name is Snow Storm 08, and above you can see some pictures of Sarah & the Dog enjoying Snow Storm 08. LOL

Last night I was visiting Lisa Bearnson blog http://www.lisabearnson.com/blog/
and she has this wonderful request on there for anyone who would be interested in helping out someone who loves stickers. Since I'm sure most of us have some extra stickers that we could share this would be a great RAK to do, and one with real meaning behind it.

Ok I must head out right now. I have an early appointment, but look forward to a peek of a couple of albums I made, later today.

blizzard condition & book shopping

Yep, I believe the two can go together, because this is what I did today. Oh I did go to work this morning, we had a staff meeting. By the time the meeting was over with, they shutdown the schools, this was due to the major winter storm we were getting hit with. (you know the one the news repeated over and over that was suppose to hit, and actually did) Well since I was in town and was very near a Barnes & Nobles, what better way to go home in a blizzard, then stop by a book store and pick up some good reading material, seriously who knows if we might get snowed in for days or something. Hey, you must think ahead sometimes, because when you do, you can also make a blog post with some very cool books to tell everyone about, and lets not forget maybe a blizzard pictures, added in for effect.

This book is so full of inspiration, I cannot wait to begin reading it. I am going to highly recommend this one. I also picked up the new Artful Blogging (thank you Christi for posting on your blog), I highly recommend this one too, it is put out by Somerset Studio. Now the next fun book I picked up today, boy B & N can be dangerousOh, I must share what it looks like out my window right now - can't see a darn thing. LOL

Missing Earring ....FOUND

Yes ..... Breaking News ...the earring that went missing right after Christmas, has been found. Thank Goodness! I was so bummed after only wearing them a couple of days then having it come up missing. Don found it actually on the floor of our room, not sure how it got there, because I had search that section of floor. I'm just happy it has been found, haven't put them on yet, little gun shy about wearing them.

Here is my card for week 5 ... finally used that butterfly stamp from Technique Tuesday that I have had forever. Signing off for now

blackjack anybody?

Not the best, because I was busy playing blackjack, and completely forgot I had my camera with me, and had planned on taking some cool videos of the event. Well, let say that didn't really happen, and neither did winning the touch ipod.... Good story there....but dh has a new miter saw (inserting photo here) and a blurry photo at that... look at that happy face. Of course that is after he said sorry a hundred times.. See we get to entry drawings for prizes, and how many times you enter depends on how many tickets you have. Some of the prizes you could win are things like white sapphire neckless or the matching earrings, designer purses, touch ipod, digital camera/frame, HD flat screen tv, tools, scooters, hunting stuff, gpx, and so many more prizes, but you can only win one prize. Prior to drawing, we had talked about the touch ipod, the gpx, and he was looking at some of the hunting items they had. At no time during this discussion was there any mention to enter for the miter saw. Well Don's name was drawn first for this lovely miter saw(see happy face in photo), the item no one remembers mentioning. (the story continues) A couple of drawings later, and the next time his name was called, it was for the touch ipod.... you should've heard our table when that happen. I believe someone is going shopping for a certain item soon.... Isn't that "heart's" day coming up... LOL I don't think the guys that he works with will let him live this one down. Seriously I really don't need an ipod, but will see where this story goes.

Seriously, why do we really have this day? Doesn't the calendar say it all? We are going to get six more weeks of Winter, whether we want it or not. HA!

Just curious if a groundhog, comes out of dark "cage" and unto a stage full of cameras & lights, wouldn't there be some kind of shadow from the groundhog?

Product Review Time
The Making Memories desktop carousel. I cannot rave enough about this item, it just arrived in my scrap room last night, and OMG! I love it!! You know I love my MM wall units, because they have really help organize some of my products, and of course because they just look good on my walls. LOL Well this carousel is going to be so handy next to my work area. It is so well made. I really don't think photo's do this item justice. The carousel can really hold a lot tools & items. Oh it's just going to look good in my scrap room! Seriously I am going to give this item an A+ - Making Memories did a fabulous job on designing this one!
